Nigerian gospel minister Sinach is set to headline the Arise with Sinach concert on August 22 at the Celebration Centre in Harare.

Renowned for her powerful worship ministry and inspirational music, Sinach, born Osinachi Kalu, has become one of the most influential voices in contemporary gospel music. She rose to global prominence through her chart-topping anthem Way Maker, a song that has transcended denominations and cultures to become a worldwide worship favourite.

Her catalogue also includes celebrated songs such as I Know Who I Am, Great Are You Lord, He Did It Again and The Name of Jesus, while her acclaimed albums include Chapter One, The Name of Jesus, There’s an Overflow and Greatest Lord.

Joining Sinach on the night will be fellow Nigerian gospel sensation Victor Thompson, whose hit single This Year has become an anthem of hope across Africa and beyond.

The international acts will be backed by a stellar line-up of Zimbabwean gospel artistes, including Bonnie Deuschle and Celebration Choir, Janet Manyowa, Ellard Cherayi, Sharon Cherayi, Joyful Praise Choir and Eleana Makombe.

Ahead of the concert, Sinach expressed her excitement in a message shared on social media, inviting Zimbabweans to prepare for an unforgettable encounter.
“My heart is full of joy for what God is about to do at ARISE. I look forward to worshipping with you. See you there!” she said.

The concert is expected to attract thousands of worshippers from across Zimbabwe and the region. Organisers have encouraged attendees to come with faith and expectation, describing the event as more than just a musical concert, but a gathering aimed at inspiring lives through worship and the message of hope.
