‘Smoking’ gunners

LONDON. — Olivier Giroud has revealed that smoking is common among his Arsenal teammates – with a number of stars loving lighting up.

Giroud made the revelation to French newspaper L’Equipe following recent claims that there is a “smoking culture” at the Emirates Stadium.

Wojciech Szczesny was fined before Christmas for smoking in the showers and Jack Wilshere’s has been caught puffing away on several occasions. And Giroud says there are more than just those to at it, with plenty of stars smoking.

“Everyone knows that there are a lot of players who smoke,” he said. — Metro.
