ZIM dancehall stalwart, Sniper Storm, says he will not cut ties with Tocky Vibes.
This follows the chanter’s decision to snub Sniper’s album launch after being included on the poster.
The long-serving Zim dancehall “general”, is set to launch his album, titled Scenario, on November 19, in the Harare Gardens.

The two stables are only coordinating the event with Sniper in charge of proceedings, it has emerged.
With the countdown already underway, Tocky Vibes – who hardly clashes with local promoters – shocked the Zim dancehall fraternity when he posted a disclaimer, distancing himself from the event.
He was not available for comment at the time of going to print.
Sniper, who is the star attraction at the launch, confirmed Tocky was no longer part of the line-up although he could not be drawn into revealing finer details.
“Tocky Vibes is no longer coming as he posted on his social media pages, but he was part of my plans,” said Sniper.
“I can’t reveal why he decided to snub us when we had an agreement, but it’s part of life.
“All the artists on the line-up have agreed to work with me on this project and that’s what we normally do,” he added.
Sniper was, however, quick to dismiss reports he had a fallout with Tocky.
“To be honest, we are good buddies with Tocky and I do respect his decision.
“He is a professional guy who knows what he wants in life and he remains my brother.
“However, the launch will go ahead despite his decision to pull out,” said.
An array of chanters – Seh Calaz, Jah Signal, Kinnah, Ras Caleb, Shinso, DJ Fantam and the Chillspot Family – are also set to perform.
After the Tocky Vibes discord, Chipaz Promotions boss, Partson “Chipaz” Chimbodza had to clear the air after his name was dragged into the chaos.
He said: “As Chipaz Promotions, we have events we liaise with artistes directly if it’s an album launch or birthday.
“In this case of Sniper Storm’s album launch, it’s the artiste’s mandate to liaise with artistes as they support each other on their own terms.
“The artistes on the poster are the ones Sniper spoke to but what happened afterwards I was not responsible but I only read it on social media.
“To me, Tocky lacked professionalism if he indeed pulled out when he had agreed.”
Added Chipaz; “He should have tried to call me as he saw my logo or call Mahwindo Foundation whose logo was also placed on the poster.
“As promoters, we also have brands to protect and in this case, he soiled our image.”
