The Southern Region coaches held their Northern Region counterparts to a 2-2 draw in the first leg that was played in Harare on Unity Day.
Marko Dube, a member of the organising committee, said the game was meant to bring together coaches and former players so that they could interact and exchange ideas on a number of issues.
He said after the match the union, which has the legendary Moses Chunga as its interim leader, would hold a press conference to clarify the functions of their union.
“The coaches and former players need to interact and share ideas and that is the purpose of this game. We are bringing the coaches together so that we tell them about the union. It must be noted that we are not a breakaway of the Zimbabwe Soccer Coaches Association but a union. That will be clarified at a press conference we are going to have after the meeting.
“Besides that, everything is set for the clash and we are calling on the people of Bulawayo to come in their numbers and interact with their coaches and greats,” said Dube.
The Ndlovu brothers Madinda, Adam and Peter are expected to lead the Southern Region team that will have among others Willard ‘Nduna’ Khumalo, Agent Sawu, Zenzo Moyo, Tito Paketh, Douglas Mloyi, Gift
Lunga (Snr), Netsai Moyo and Amin Soma-Phiri.
Veteran gaffer Cosmas ‘Tsano’ Zulu is likely to be in charge of the Southern Region team.
The Northern Region will be without Norman Mapeza and Joey Antipas who are on duty with the Warriors in Botswana.
Interim chairman of the union Chunga, Callisto Pasuwa, Lloyd Chitembwe, Brenna Msiska and Misheck Chidzambwa are among those expected to lead the Northern Region.
Meanwhile, Dube said they would have an after-party at a sports club in Emakhandeni.
