GWANDA-based gospel artiste Samuel Sokosi has released a DVD album for his second album Uya Kuna Jesu. The DVD album which carries videos for all songs on Uya Kuna Jesu was shot in Gwanda and Kwekwe and recorded at Kwekwe’s Laag Beats and Vibes Studios. The album features videos for tracks Danai Jesu, Sei Usingade, Munoziva, Ivainesu, Nguvairikupera and the title track Uya Kuna Jesu.
The up-and-coming gospel artiste said his DVD album released last month was centred on encouraging people to seek refuge in God.

“The album sends a message to people encouraging them stop engaging in evil ways and seek refuge in God,” he said.
Sokosi said Sei Usingade was his favourite song because it urged people to always go to church and pray with others.

“Sei Usingade is my favourite song as it has a heavy message, educating people about the importance of prayer, in both good and bad times” he said.

Sokosi said the DVD was produced by a seasoned artiste, Gabriel Gwini. Gwini, popularly known as “Seku Bee” is his manager.
Various seasoned artistes including Clay D Moja and Sam Mungate Chasakwa feature on the DVD album.
Sokosi said he was pleased that his gospel fans were accessing his music through various media.

“I am overwhelmed because I have received fair airplay on our local radio stations, specifically Radio Zimbabwe, National FM and also on television,” he said.
