SOME RELATIVES NOW WISH ME DEAD, SAYS CANCER PATIENT

A HATFIELD woman’s battle against breast cancer has reached its toughest stage amid revelations that some of the relatives now wish her dead.

Last year Bharbra Matarutse, 44, revealed she has been fighting breast cancer since 2016.

Bharbra has been surviving through assistance from well-wishers.

Now, she can’t even afford to settle her bills.

The cancer has now spread throughout her body.

“Mheno Mwari kuti richavharika here. I have a sister whom I pay to wipe the wound.

“Mari yacho ndeyekupemha and I can’t sit zvakanaka or sleep either.

“I am now being fed, kutoilet I now use diapers, so zvakaoma.

“I am now in need of about US$2000, including the admission fee, because they will need to monitor the wound.

“I need to see a surgeon for that wound.”

She said some of her relatives appear to have given up any hopes of her surviving.

“Yes, some of them are no longer supporting and they now wish me dead.

“I started experiencing this condition in 2016 and I need healing.

“I am thankful for my close relatives and friends who support me. But it’s now hard for me.”
