Her claim to fame was after the man in her life, Munya Chidzonga,  popularly known as Diamond Boy won the hearts of many in the 2010 Big Brother Africa television reality show where he finished runner up.

People started talking about her music and her existence came to life in the entertainment industry.

Adiona Maboreke Chidzonga had however, taken a musical sabbatical as she was still nursing the youngest “Diamond” they were blessed with last year.

However, the songstress announced that she is back in the industry and her fans should look out for her new album.

“I have been quiet yes, but in my silence I have been working on new songs, my debut acting role as well as going to school.

My plate has been full. I am back in the industry but unfortunately not full time.  I have to juggle because to be perfectly honest, music does not pay the bills. It pays some but not all,” she said.

She is working on a project with Reverb 7 and Jam Signal. Besides the project, she did a full album at Jah Prayzah studios which is awaiting release.

“I am just trying to strategise on how to release the album.

Everything has been done as far as the album is concerned so in no time it will be out for the public,” she said.

Adiona said being a mother of two was fulfilling but not easy. She said her kids and her husband were God’s smile to her and she would do anything for them.

“I look at my boys everyday and honestly my heart opens. They are so easy to love.

I am married to a friend, confidant, a lover and a pillar of strength.

We have had our fair share of ups and downs but God has been faithful. We are still together against all odds,” she said.
