South African gospel ensemble Spirit of Praise (SOP) has released the much-anticipated Ndinomira PaJordan, a track delivered by Zimbabwean gospel musician Everton Mlalazi. The song features on the group’s latest album, Spirit of Praise 11, recorded live at the SunBet Arena in Tshwane, South Africa.
Sung in both Ndebele and Shona, Ndinomira Pa Jordan carries a message of hope, reflecting on the Christian promise of eternal rest in the “beautiful Promised Land” – Canaan.

Some of the songs that have been dropped as part of the Spirit of Praise 11 album are Speak Lord done by Xola Toto, Ufanele by Omega Khunou, Usibiyele sang by Canaan Nyathi, among other songs.
The song has been released timely as SOP will be in Bulawayo for a performance tonight, as they bring their Next Level Tour to the country. Artistes part of the group who will perform tonight include Dumi Mkokstad, Ayanda Ntanzi, Lufuno Dagada, Mpumi Mtsweni, Omega Khunou, Sindi Ntombela, Xola Toto, Zaza Mokhethi, as well as Zimbabwe’s Everton Mlalazi and Canaan Nyathi.
Adding spiritual weight to the event will be seasoned psalmist and Pastor, Mthunzi Namba, a foundational figure in the creation of the equally iconic Joyous Celebration. He will serve as guest of honour, guiding the ensemble through a night of high praise and worship.
Mlalazi who is coming back to his hometown said being part of SOP has been nothing short of transformative to his life as he has witnessed immense spiritual, musical, and personal growth.
“SOP is a family that values excellence, unity, and the pursuit of God’s presence. Being surrounded by such gifted and disciplined ministers has stretched and sharpened me in the best ways. The journey with the group has been enriching, humbling, and deeply fulfilling.
“Being part of this ensemble has really pushed me to mean what I sing. When I’m up on stage with some of these ministers, I get to see and feel first-hand, how serious they talk about this ministry. I see how much they pour out to make sure the message is heard.
“That pushes me to introspect and root myself in the word. That’s among the best spiritual experiences of my life,” said Mlalazi.
He said tonight the ensemble will bring sounds of hope and a message of salvation to the City of Kings.
