MASKANDI musician Sobancane who hails from Zimnyama in Mangwe has appealed to well-wishers for financial assistance in order to build a proper rural homestead.

The musician who is visually impaired lives with his mother, daughter, and nephew. He uses a one-roomed thatched hut which is in terrible condition.

With the winter season upon us, the musician’s handlers have taken it upon themselves to mobilise funds for the construction of a two-roomed house for the musician.

Through his Zimbabwean manager Handy, Sobancane said he is kindly requesting for an improvement in his life.

“We’re asking for those willing to contribute to help build Sobancane a two-roomed place to stay to contribute items that include bricks, gumpoles, door, roof sheets, cement, door frames and windows.

“We’d like to thank everyone who has contributed to such a good cause. For more details people can visit my Facebook page Handy Sibanda,” said Handy. – @mthabisi_mthire
