ZIMBABWE Music Awards winning dancehall artiste, Soul Musaka, popularly known Soul Jah Love will tomorrow (Saturday) make a return to Mutare’s Diamond Lounge, formerly Gullivers Nightclub.
The show will also officially open the uptown nightclub, which will now open its doors to the public daily from 6pm till late.
The highly sought-after dancehall sensation and man-of-the-moment in September bagged most awards at the ZIMAs winning the Best Dancehall, Best Male and Album of the Year awards.
Soul Jah Love’s wife Bounty Lisa and Jah Child, the trio now known as ‘the conquering family’ will curtain raise for the show.
Bounty Lisa is expected to give bits and pieces of her debut album ‘Mangoma’ set for release by year end.
Diamond Lounge spokesperson, Jordan Chakonda, said Soul Jah Love, will be their early Christmas present to Mutare dancehall fans.
Chakonda on Monday confirmed that all was in place for the Simudza Musoro hit-maker’s show.
“All is set for the show. We have already signed on the deal. This show comes by popular demand after a sold out show last time in October.
“This will be our early Christmas present to Mutare dancehall fans.
“Diamond Lounge is set to become the jewel of Mutare’s club scene,” said Chakonda.
Despite being a controversial figure always hitting media headlines for various mischievous and divisive issues, Soul Jah Love’s talent on the microphone is undisputed.
