Dancehall chanters Soul Jah Love and Freeman thrilled fans at the Vaseline Winter Warmer Promotion held over the weekend at Epworth Shopping Centre. The Dzivarasekwa bred singer Freeman who was the first to be on stage gave a top class performance. He thrilled his fans with his popular tracks like “Shaina Mwana”, “Vapfumi”, “Handina Godo”, “Hatikundike”, “Kurambwa Ndaramba” that fans sang along.
Soul Jah Love left fans begging for more after he gave a polished act during the promotion.
He belted out his popular hits “This Time, “Handichabatika”,”Ndozvandomudira”, “Zimbabwe” and “Ndini Uya Uya” among others as his dancers the Conquering Family put up well choreographed moves on stage.
His famous “Hauite Hauite” punchline has become the new buzzword as it is now an integral part of the ghetto lingo across the country within dancehall fanatics.
Speaking on the sidelines of the promotion,Unilever personal care assistant Chiedza Mubure said they were pleased that the event was a success.
“We are happy that our event was a succes and there was a huge turn out. We have managed to give back to the society since as a brand we believe in sustainable living and we appreciate all the people that buy our products that is why we come up with such promotions,” she said.
There were a lot of prizes that were won including generators, gas stoves, iron, blankets and kettles.
