Cape Town — Reports in the United Kingdom claim that David Moyes is interested in speaking to Southampton about their vacant managerial position following the sacking of Mark Hughes.
While there has yet to be any contact between Moyes and Southampton, the former Everton, Manchester United, Sunderland and West Ham boss is keen on returning to the Premier League.
The Saints are in the hunt for a new manager after parting ways with manager Mark Hughes on Monday.
Hughes was given the sack after going 10 matches without a victory in the Premier League.
Moyes has been out of a job since leaving West Ham in May after helping them avoid relegation. The Hammers were languishing in the relegation zone when he took over. — Sport24.
