SPARE A THOUGHT FOR EX-WARRIORS TEAM MANAGER

H-Metro Reporter

SPARE a thought for former Warriors team manager, Charles “Dzvairo” Mafripa.

His name was dragged back into the limelight on Wednesday during a court appearance by his wife, Emily, who is involved in a raging dispute with his aunt.

The dispute is centred around allegations of witchcraft. Dzvairo, who was the Warriors manager when Brazilian coach, Valinhos, was in charge of the team, is said to be in hospital.

His wife, Emily, claims Dzairo’s aunt was the one who bewitched him.

The aunt, Hatifare Munouyi, is laying the same accusations against Emily.

Emily has since applied for a peace order against Hatifare at the Harare Civil Court.

Yesterday, H-Metro obtained images of Dzvairo, the man who is at the centre of the raging court dispute.

Charles “Dzvairo” Mafripa ‘s current state

Clearly, he appears to be in very poor health and is barely recognisable as the man who was the team manager of the Warriors.

His wife, and aunt, have traded accusations that either party allegedly played a role in Dzvairo’s current state.

Emily pointed the finger at his aunt, Harifare, claiming in court on Wednesday that:

“She always visits my house unannounced and takes pictures of my husband which she posts on social media,” said Emily.

“And, she tells people that I am abusing my husband.

“Charles is currently in hospital, and whenever I visit, she harasses me, calling me names.”

In response, Hatifare denied the allegations and launched counter accusations against Emily.

She claimed Emily was allegedly the cause of Charles’ misfortune.

“When she got married to my nephew, he was a businessman.

“Emily told everyone that Charles was faking illness to cover up for losing his job.

“She filed for divorce right after Charles’ sickness, saying he must find a job.

“I have never harassed her.

“It is very pathetic for her to come here and ask for a peace order,” said Hatifare.

The presiding magistrate granted the peace order in Emily’s favour.
