Guests and artistes scheduled to perform at the ‘Spirit of Praise, Volume 10’ (SOP) tour concert have begun arriving in the country.

The tour, set to take place this weekend will feature the Spirit of Praise team, led by South African singer Bishop Benjamin Dube. The first concert will be held at the Rainbow Towers main auditorium in Harare on Saturday, followed by a performance at the Harvest House International Conference Centre in Bulawayo the next day.

Members of SOP include Dumi Mkokstad, Omega, Mmatema, Mpumi Mtsweni, Takie Ndou, Sindi Ntombela, Canaan Nyathi, and Everton Mlalazi. Guest performances will feature UK-based Zimbabwean songstress Eleana Makombe, The Unveiled, Harvest Music, and Vocal X.

Some team members from South Africa, including Eleana Makombe, arrived in the country on Tuesday.

“I’m happy to be back home for SOP, and I also have another event on October 26. We have just started rehearsals, and it will be a good show,” Eleana said shortly after her arrival.

SOP project manager Rumbidzai Matinanga reported that preparations for the two-day event are well underway.

“We’ve started preparations with the stage setup. Guests from Malawi, South Africa, the United Kingdom, and Zambia have begun to arrive. It’s going to be fireworks, and so far, the rehearsals are going well,” she stated.
