LOG leaders Amagagasi are on cloud nine with reason to celebrate after their striker scooped the Nokel Security top goal scorer award of the Zifa Southern Region League for April.
Six matches into the 2016 season the Victoria Falls based team is sitting at the summit of the table with a hundred percent record accumulating an impressive 18 points.
For his hard work and determination a�� scoring three goals after a round of four matches – Lungile Nyathi will collect $150 courtesy of sponsors Nokel Security.
The award will be presented to the player before their Saturday fixture against Casmyn. Representatives from the Southern Region League executive as well as the sponsors are expected to be present.
Nokel Security director Kenneth Mhlophe said the company had made an undertaking to continue sponsoring the top goal scorer award despite the hard economic conditions.
The sponsors are pleased with the level of competitiveness exhibited by teams in the league as well as eventual title winners who go on to represent the Southern Region as a whole in the elite Premier Soccer League.

Meanwhile, in other weekend fixtures Bantu Rovers take on Ntabazinduna at Luveve Stadium while Talen Vision host Makomo at Raylton Sports Club. Both matches are on Saturday.
Bulawayo Chiefs players that were involved in an accident en route to Victoria Falls for a league match last week have been given time to recuperate before resuming their league fixtures.
The Chiefs team bus overturned 80KM before Hwange resulting in five players being seriously injured while others suffered fractures and bruises.
