Sports help foster unity

Correctional Services Football Club and Dynamos Football Club on Sunday, Media, Information and Publicity Minister Webster Shamu congratulated the two teams for representing their countries well in the CAF Champions league preliminary round, first leg tie at Rufaro Stadium.

He said meeting after the game was a good opportunity for players from the two teams to exchange culturally.

“What happened tonight is something rare in Africa, that after competing we say congratulations to the other and say let us now grow to know each other,” said Minister Shamu.

“This is the milestone in maturity of Africa and shows the change in the way people in Africa now relate to each other.”
