Spurs in advanced Conte talks

LONDON. Tottenham are in advanced negotiations with former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte about becoming their new manager.

Chairman Daniel Levy and managing director Fabio Paratici are moving quickly to secure a replacement following Nuno Espirito Santo’s sacking yesterday after just four months in charge.

Conte, 52, was set to hold face-to-face talks later yesterday, with an announcement possible as early as today.

The Italian left Inter Milan in May just weeks after winning Serie A. BBC Sport.
