St George’s win

The Heritage, which had junior national team captain Mbongeni Maphosa were the runners up in the event that had eight schools taking part.
The other schools who took part included Milton High, Peterhouse, Hellenic, Eaglesvale, St Jonh’s and Mount Pleasant who finished in that order.

The B Division whose handcaps range from 12-18 saw St John’s College coming out victorious with St George’s on second.
Watershed which was represented by Boysen Mutembwa were third as Hillcrest come on fourth with Peterhouse on fifth.

CBC, Prince Edward and St John’s College completed the top eight respectively. The C Division saw Milton High who finished on 112 points come out victorious.
Meanwhile the team of Mike Mahachi, Max Gova, Mike Hlahla and Collin Mpofu won the 2013 edition of the Afdis corporate golf day at Royal Harare.

The team managed to beat 40 other teams who took to the filed for the event.
Julius Marufu won the individual event and said he was happy for the win and took time to thank the sponsors who had invited him to the event.
