St John’s ready for Easter Rugby Fest

The preparations have now reached an advanced stage and the young captain feels they will have an impressive run during their tour. “We are ready and I am happy with how we have been playing, being captain is challenging but I am glad that we are doing a lot of team work.
“Our forwards, backs and our scrums all look good.

“We have improved and all is well now, the team is a well balanced side with a good blend of young players.
“The boys are looking forward to the festival and as rugby players, they really benefit a lot from this festivals as it gives them the opportunity of sharpening their skills,” said Swan.   This will be the first time for Swan to led the team at the festival although he has be there as a player before.

St John’s College rugby team is currently been coached by professional coach, Gary Hewitt, and managed by Maxwell Madziva.
St John’s first match will be against New Orleans before taking on hosts St John’s Johannesburg.
They will end the tour with a match against Windhoek Gymnasium School of Namibia.
