FOR 15 years widow Thandi Mthembu (47) and her neighbours lived in peace.
But one day last month, when her kid and his two friends laughed too loudly, all hell broke loose.
The 50-year-old neighbour apparently took offence and allegedly stabbed two of them with a knife.
Thandi said she was shocked to hear her neighbour hunted the three boys from shack to shack until he found her son (18) and a friend hiding behind a pit toilet.
He allegedly stabbed both of them!
The angry mum from Phomolong in Mamelodi East, Tshwane, claimed the mana��s wife told her that her son and his friends had laughed at her husband. She said the other two kids are 13 and 16 years old. They were treated and released from hospital.
Her son Thobani told the Peoplea��s Paper: a�?We were watching Tom and Jerry on my phone and were laughing.
a�?He must have thought we were laughing at him.a�?
Mamelodi East police spokesman Captain Michael Mbewe said a case of assault was opened.
