Stage set for Mash West Investor Conference

HUNDREDS of delegates have converged at Rainbow Hotel in Kadoma for the Mashonaland West Investor Conference aimed at unlocking investment opportunities.

Running under the theme: Unlocking and Unpacking Investments Opportunities Through Domestic and Foreign Arrangements, is being hosted by the office of the Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution for Mashonaland West.

The conference is being attended by at least 35 local and foreign investors, 14 local councils, and government departments among others.

Members of Parliament and Senators from the province are also part of the delegation attending the conference.

Mashonaland West has vast opportunities in mining, agriculture, manufacturing and tourism, the sectors that the province hopes to push.

In her speech, Mashonaland West Minister, Marrian Chombo said the province was riding under President Mnangagwa’s mantra ‘Zimbabwe is Open for Business’.
