Stars meet at Summer Slam

A lot is expected when the country’s top entertainers meet for the 16th edition of Summer Slam that will be held on Saturday at Longcheng Plaza.

Stars including man-of-the-moment Jah Prayzah, Kinna, Terminator, Seh Calaz, Trevor Dongo , Freeman, Lipsy and Guspy Warrior are among entertainers who will perform at the event.

Popular Star FM presenter Pathisani Sibanda will also be part of the event.

Musicians who spoke to The Herald Entertainment promised fireworks.

Jah Prayzah manager Keen Mushapaidze promised fireworks saying it was a great opportunity to share stage with dance-hall stars.

“This is our great opportunity to meet with dance-hall stars. It gives us room to show what we have as musicians,” he said.

The musician is riding high with his new album “Jerusarema” and is getting popular by each passing show.

Kinna who released his new album last month “Chakatyokera” said he was geared to give his best to the ghetto youths.

“We always work to give our best on such shows and we are working very hard to please our fans on the summer slam,” he said.

He said though he was popular in Mbare his album has brought good fortunes to my career.

“It is doing well with my collaboration with Terminator fast becoming a hit. I will be sharing stage with him on that song,” he said.

Terminator said he was ready to give his fans the best.

“I have not been on the limelight for long but this show will give me a platform to re unite with my fans once again,” he said.

Organisers of the event said all has been set for the biggest show.

“All the artistes have confirmed their participation. We are happy that they shown their commitment on the show,” said Templeman who is one of the organisers.

He is also lined up to perform at the show.
