SULUMAN Chimbetu, Baba Harare and DJ Fantan, are set to perform at the Axis Solutions Super8 Cup final on October 22.
The ZIFA Northern Region Division One Champions Simba Bhora and Golden Eagles will clash in the final at Rufaro.
Axis Solutions Africa chief executive, Brian Mukudzavhu, announced the musical performances at yesterday’s kit unveiling.
ZIFA Northern Region vice-chairman, Sweeney Mushonga, said their lure of the musicians was inspired by poor crowd attendance becoming the norm in the domestic leagues.
Mushonga insisted that they want to make the final a family fun day.
“We are looking forward to a successful final.
It’s our hope that Golden Eagles and Simba Bhora will illuminate Rufaro and dazzle our super fans as they fight for the coveted trophy.
“Today’s kit unveiling has once again cemented our relationship with Axis Solutions Africa, a dependable, reliable and committed partner driven by a strong passion for the development of local football.
“The league is convinced that this strategic synergetic alliance will go a long way in bringing back part of the lost crowds to our matches,” he said.
He hailed Allied Insurance Company, Dairibord Zimbabwe, BMG Consultants and Black Shark Protection Services for sponsoring artists that will perform in the final.
