Musician Stewie Le Savage has released a single, “Inkomo”, paying tribute to the struggles fathers face in providing for their families.

The Afro-House track was produced by Rander The Samaita and Mellow MuziQ at Solid Sounds.

Stewie Le Savage said the song captures the broader dynamics of life.

“Inkomo reflects the struggles our fathers endured to secure a better life for us, only for external forces to undermine their efforts. It is written in both Ndebele and Shona to show that these challenges affect people across tribes and walks of life,” he said.

He added, “In our African context, ‘Inkomo’ (cows) symbolise wealth, whether financial or otherwise, but the song focuses on the efforts that often go in vain.” – Follow on X: @mthabisi_mthire
