BLACK Rhinos coach Stanford “Stix” Mutizwa hailed his troops after a deserved 1-0 win over Cranborne Bullets in a Castle Lager Premiership tie at the National Sports yesterday.
The match was played before a decent crowd despite being played on a Monday.
Midfielder Gift Saunyama made no mistake from the spot in the 33th minute after Nelson Mwasanga fouled in the box.
“The boys performed well, they played to the script and showed character to stay in control of the game. We created good chances which we failed to take but I think since it was our first game, some of these guys might be still rusty,” said Mutizwa.
