In a domestic top-flight league, which has been crying out for the fans to return to the stadia, the sights and sounds at Barbourfields on Sunday were refreshing.
The Bosso fans, who have been leading the way in terms of attendance figures at PSL matches, were back again in full force on Sunday.
By the time their league match against ZPC Kariba got underway, Soweto Stand was full to the brim.
“This is what we want to see on a regular basis in our main league,” a local football agent told H-Metro.
“You feel the vibe when you are in such a stadium and it gets to the players because they want to hear and feel that the fans are behind them.
“It’s unfortunate that the National Sports Stadium is huge and it’s virtually impossible for local league teams to fill it and some fans generally don’t just like going there.
“Rufaro would have been ideal for those in Harare but we have to salute the Highlanders fans for the way they are leading the way in terms of supporting their team.
“Right now, there is no question that Bosso are the best supported team in the country.”
