DAGGERS have been drawn between Street Set and ZRP Bulawayo, who clash tomorrow in the Southern Region Women’s Football Association League at Milton High School.

ZRP Bulawayo are playing their first match of the season after being given an off day last weekend during which Street Set walloped a new look Cowdray Park 3-0.

“We are the favourites while the rest of the teams are fighting for number four. We have one of the highly qualified coaches in the league Ayanda Sibanda, who has a Caf C Licence and I don’t think the cops will be a match for us,” said Street Set founder and director Lee Mangena.

Some of the players his team will bank on include Patience Ceda, Faith Mpofu, Shanty Ncube and goalkeeper Moblessing Kunjenjema, who was acquired from Mutare.

Gezellina Moyo, a ZRP Bulawayo official, said they were equally ready for the match.

“We will take the game as it comes. Street Set is a good team, but we are prepared for them,” said Moyo.

ZRP will bank on defender Sanelisiwe Sibanda and midfielder Sithulisiwe Ndlovu, while Shellitah Zulu is expected to lead the frontline.

Other matches will see a recently revived Highlanders Royals playing their first match at home when they host Sobukhazi High School at the club house.

Royals were given a baptism of fire by Black Boots, who clobbered them 5-0 in their debut match last weekend.

Cowdray Park will be hoping to collect maximum points when they host Magwegwe.

A potentially mouth watering tie is at Masotsha where Inline clash with table toppers Blackboots.
