Students want to show last season wasn't a fluke

HERENTALS were one of the best performers in the Castle Lager Premiership last season and the Students want to show that wasn’t a fluke.

Coach Kumbirai Mutiwekuziva said their pre-season schedule went well and they are ready to do it all over again.

They begin their season with a tough away game against Triangle at Gibbo on Saturday.

“We have been preparing for the season to start and now we are ready for competition. It’s a good experience to start by traveling as it gives us the opportunity to identify ourselves when playing away. Triangle are a good team and we can’t underestimate them but we have to work hard for positive results,” he said.

The Students have a clean bill of health as they have no injury worries in their squad. This leaves Mutiwekuziva spoilt for choice. “Everyone ready for the season to start. Everyone is just eager to play and do all they can for the club.

“ I think we’ve been in the league for a while now. We aim to do better than what we did last season,” he said.
