Popular urban grooves artiste Desmond Chideme popularly known as Stunner is set to hold shows in the UK this festive season with gigs in Leeds and Glasgow, Scotland scheduled for end of the year.Stunner posted on his Facebook wall that he was leaving for shows over the holiday season and urged his fans in that part of the world to go and celebrate the New Year with him.
“Kufadza imi ndiro basa rangu. Let’s meet in Leeds and Glasgow this festive season and party the Shark way because we don’t stop,” he said.
The rapper is trying to cap the year that included being dumped on live television by his socialite girlfriend Pokello Nare in favour of her fellow Big Brother Africa housemate, Ghanaian Elikem Kumordzi on a positive note.
He was also snubbed by fans who did not vote for him at the recent Zim Hip-Hop Awards where he was set to receive the People’s Choice and Song of the Year Awards.
In addition, Stunner allegedly lost his endorsement support from companies which did not want to be associated with the musician’s antics, especially a leaked sex-tape which drew criticism from sections of the society.
The Tazoita Cash Records founder is a fighter who has been known to make comebacks despite setbacks in his career and the UK gig will probably contribute to his resurgence.
The label boasts a host of talented artistes including Exquisite, Junior Brown, Russo, Dr Clarence and Shastro aka Payce, who are all heavyweights in their own regard.
Stunner is not new to UK tours, after having staged gigs in 2011 and 2012 with various artistes including King Shaddy, Nox, Lady B and Winky D.
