‘Stupid things men say’ for Hifa

The play called “Really Stupid Things Men Say” is part of Hifa’s “Creative Zimbabwe” programme and is written and directed by talented Mgcini Nyoni. It is coming to Hifa fresh from its successful première at the National Gallery in Bulawayo.

“Hie my name is Khumalo and I hold not one, but two Master’s degrees . . .” reads of the lines in the play.
Another exciting play coming to Hifa tackles the question: “Do men perhaps have one objective with women?”

To find out, Hifa is inviting audiences to join the talented poetry Bulawayo actress Mbo Mahocs in this exciting new and challenging look at the oldest war in the history of the world: “The War of the Sexes”. Watch as Mbo transforms before your eyes, changing with ease between characters and even sexes, creating an intimate and enjoyable performance.
The play will stage two performances on Coca-Cola Day (May 4) at 1.30pm and Old Mutual Day (May 5) at 10am in the ZB Bank Reps Theatre Upstairs. — Hifa.
