Sturridge out for three weeks

Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge is likely to be out for up to three weeks because of a thigh injury. Sturridge suffered the injury in training with England and scans revealed the damage will keep him out of his club’s next few matches. Liverpool are hopeful that Sturridge will return in time for the local derby with Everton on September 27. — Supersport
