LONDON — Uruguay striker Luis Suarez will be going to the World Cup soccer finals after a scare less than two weeks ago when he aggravated an injury and needed knee cartilage surgery.
Coach Oscar Tabarez named the Liverpool player, who was top scorer with 31 goals in the English Premier League last season, in his 23-man squad on Saturday for the tournament starting on 12 June. — Reuters.
