On the night of the celebrations, Sulu cut the cake amid pomp and fanfare from the appreciative crowd and close family members.
Among the people present were Minister of Media, Information and Publicity Webster Shamu and Minister of Tourism and Hospitality Indusstry Walter Mzembi.
Minister Shamu encouraged Sulu to handle himself discreetly since he had grown to be a role model of many youths.
“You are now a brand, handle yourself well,” said Minister Shamu.
Minister Mzembi said the dendera heir was a good ambassador and that the tourism authority would continue to rope him in future events.
Sulu performed at the just ended Victoria Cultural Festival in Seychelles where he raised the country’s flag high.
It was, however, in the crowd where the real celebrations where.
Invited guests could be seen enjoying every moment of the programme.
Sulu performed just four songs but managed to send fans into delirium.
As expected, “Sean Timba” sent fans into frenzy.
Sulu is on a whirlwind celebrating his achievements and the Jazz 105 party follows another private party Sulu held at Mushandirapamwe Hotel a week ago.
Sulu’s publicist Joe Nyamungoma said the musician was holding the celebrations and honouring his fans.
“Sulu understands that he would not rise to where he is today without the support of his fans. He remains humbled by the support he is getting wherever he goes,” he said.
