HEIR to the dendera throne, Suluman Chimbetu, has promised to sample new tracks from his forthcoming album to be released later this year when he performs at popular leisure centre, Club Mandisa tomorrow (Saturday).

This will be the Sean Timba hit-maker’s first time to stage a live performance at the rejuvenated entertainment spot.

Speaking through his publicist, Joe “Local” Nyamungoma, the silk-voiced artiste, said his fans should look forward to a “surprise package”.

“As usual, we promise fireworks and we won’t disappoint our fans.

“It is also an opportunity to sample new songs on our forthcoming album. Our camp is ready for the show and we would like to urge fun lovers in Mutare to make a date with the dendera king,” said Nyamungoma.

The multi-award winning’s lyrical ingenuity and innovativeness makes him one of the finest composers on the land.

Although Nyamungoma could not divulge the exact dates of the new album release, he said the album would contain six songs and might possibly feature prominent artistes. He said some of the tracks contained on the album include Arasa Mwana and It’s Not Necessary.

“I cannot really give the actual dates as we are busy working on the Gunship DVD album which is set to be released in June.

“We are also setting up our own recording studio in Mabelreign which will open by mid-next month.

“We strongly believe our show at Mandisa will be an archival one,” he said

The talented guitarist and dancer, who last released the album Gunship and three singles, among them Makamaradha, late last year, last performed in the eastern border city a month ago at the Platinum where he delivered a top drawer performance.
