IT’S a musical war of legends! Suluman “Sulu” Chimbetu is set to lock horns with Allen “The Ghost” Ndoda this Friday in a high-octane showdown that’s already being dubbed The Battle of the Beats!
The Newtown Music Factory (formerly Baseline) will explode with sound as Dendera meets Tshibilika, in a show that pits Zimbabwean musical royalty against a ghost from the past who’s back with a vengeance!
Sulu, riding the wave of his sizzling new album Tsapo, brings his signature swagger, polished live band, and hit-loaded setlist to Jozi’s stage, as part of his Tsapo SA Album Tour. But it won’t be a walk in the park…
Enter The Ghost.
Long-missed Tshibilika maestro Allen Ndoda, once the life force behind The Challengers, is making a thunderous comeback after years in the UK wilderness. He’s dusted off his dancing shoes and is ready to haunt the stage with classics like Waya Waya,
Ngizoqala eTsholotsho, and Intwenjani—plus a sneak peek at his new album dropping August 2.

But this ain’t just a concert — it’s a cultural clash, a generational face-off, and Sulu’s belated birthday bash rolled into one.
Phakama “PK” Nkomo of Underground Entertainment, the show’s brainchild, says expect more than music.
“This is a cultural reunion. Dendera meets Tshibilika. Legends meet legacy. We’re celebrating Sulu’s birthday, and Allen’s return from the shadows. Brace for fireworks!”

Also on the bill is sultry sensation Black Diva and other surprise acts PK is keeping under wraps — for now.
From Harare to Jozi, Bulawayo to Cape Town, all roads lead to Newtown this Friday. Will Sulu’s Dendera trump The Ghost’s Tshibilika magic? One stage. Two giants. Zero mercy.
Let the battle begin!
