SULUMANI Chimbetu and Stunner are set for a showdown at the Nust graduation party on Friday.
The send-off party taking place at the university’s sports ground will also feature performances by Godfather Templeman, Garry B, UK-based King Alfred, Fireman, Sasco T, DJ Lizzy, Kheta Creative Arts and New Generation Sound.
Show organisers, Werras Entertainment and Nust Entertainment said the celebration was meant for the more than 2 000 students graduating on Friday.
“For the first time, we want to have a great party with the graduates and judging from the star studded line-up, one can tell we mean business.
Students from other colleges who wish to attend the party will be given discounts on condition they bring their student identification cards,” said Samuel “Bosswerra” Saungwene, one of the organisers. They’ll be expected to pay $3 unlike the rest of the crowd who’ll pay $5.”
Sulu’s spokesperson Joe Local Nyamungoma said his artiste was upbeat about performing in Bulawayo after their initial show set for Private Lounge a few months back was cancelled.
“We’re excited to get another chance to perform in Bulawayo. The City of Kings is like a second home to us, and we’re more than prepared for the show,” said Nyamungoma.
“This show is more of compensation to our fans after our last show was cancelled at the last minute. We’re going to be sampling new tracks from the forthcoming album which we believe has all it takes to be a game changer in the music industry. Fans should prepare for a massive album.”
