Summary of Copac issues to be released on Monday

“I am sure the report will be out by Monday next week,” he said.

Minister Matinenga said the report would be tabled before Parliament for further debate.

“After receiving the report, we will follow what is in Article VI of the Global Political Agreement,” he said.

Minister Matinenga denied that he would hand over the report to the GPA principals in his capacity as chairperson of the Government management committee.

Officially opening the Second All Stakeholders Conference President Mugabe said the Principals would have the final say on the draft constitution.

However, the Second All Stakeholders’ Conference failed to agree on most of the contentious issues in the draft Constitution.

Presentations by representatives of various thematic committees reflected the divergent views that already existed among the three parties in the inclusive Government.
