Sunday Buzz: New upmarket bar fails to live up to status

A RECENTLY opened bar (whose name sounds suspiciously like that of a bus terminus) has been unable to establish the “place to be” status because of  intense competition from an older, more established neighbouring bar with an Italian name.

Unable to keep up with the Italians, so to speak, the owner of the former allegedly resorted to the all time low blow by reporting the latter to Bulawayo City Council and cops for “disturbing his business” in a bid to cripple the Italian named bar and get customers flocking to either one of his bars.

It is rumoured that clientele from the bar have been complaining about noise coming from the age Old Italian named bar.
