It’s rumoured a woman from Bulawayo’s Tegela suburb teamed up with her friend, kidnapped, assaulted and also stole from her husband’s mistress.
The ladies are said to have since appeared twice in court to answer to various charges.
It is said the women ambushed the said husband and his mistress, who they found relaxed on the grass in a compromising position.
On the day in question, the husband is said to have comically taken to his heels and left his mistress at the mercy of the two.
The women are said to have abducted the mistress and force-marched her to a house in Northend suburb, where they beat her, before going to Tegela to further assault her.
While in Tegela it is said they then searched her and stole an undisclosed amount of money, and a hairpiece form the complainant’s handbag. Talk about a protective wife!
