Popular sungura sensation, Dotcom whose real name is Tendai Chipara has traded his guitar for the bible. Chipara together with Prophet Abel Mutumwa are running the church called New Revelation Apostolic Church.
The musician-cum-prophet who is already ministering in a church in Bluffhill claims he received a calling to be a prophet.
“I have been a Christian all along but now chose to pursue my calling and get it right. I was not inspired by someone, but felt the urge to minister after prayers from Mutumwa. I am now a prophet and Prophet Abel Mutumwa has been mentoring me since he is the one who saw the vision about my life,” he said.
Chipara who has been in Nigeria for the last three weeks said he had visited Pastor TB Joshua for some tips in the ministry.
“I am ready to commission God’s work. I visited Pastor TB Joshua for some knowledge on Christian ministry and received some prayers,” he said.
He highlighted and thanked Prophet Mutumwa who looked for him after seeing a vision about his life.
“When at first got a call from Prophet Mutumwa, I ignored it and he looked for me again and said I should minister. Though I used to go there for some help. I went to South Africa with him and after some prayers I realised that God wanted to use me in a special way,” he said.
Prophet Abel Mutumwa confirmed that Chipara has been coming to his church.
“After meeting the musician sometime ago, I had a vision on him . I tried talking to him but he rejected. He has a special place in ministering God’s work. We prayed together and I am happy to say that he now acknowledges that he has an anointing spirit of preaching,” he said.
