The teacher-cum-musician has released another album following his debut titled Nhasi Zvapera which was released in 2009.
The second six-track album, titled Ndozochema, seems to be popular with music lovers.
In an interview, Ngundu said he had been working on the second album since 2009. He said most songs on the new album were popular with music fans.
“The first album Nhasi Zvapera which I released in 2009 did not get much publicity and only one song, the hit song Mari yerombe got attention after it received some air play on radio. I have since improved and people are beginning to appreciate my music judging by the large turnout at my shows now,” said Ngundu who is backed by Orchestra Pachedu.
Ngundu who said he has managed to balance his tight schedule as a secondary school teacher and a musician, said the new album was receiving a lot of support especially in the Midlands.
He said he has been frequenting various nightspots and beer gardens in the Midlands where the new album has been receiving overwhelming support.
“People are now beginning to appreciate my music maybe because this time my songs are being played on radio more often. Learning from the mistakes we made in the first album, we have been able this time to produce something that the music lovers are enjoying,” he added.
