BULAWAYO residents can look forward to a sunny Friday and a progressively warmer weekend, with clear skies and dry winter conditions expected to prevail across the city, according to AccuWeather.
AccuWeather forecasts plenty of sunshine on Friday, with a maximum temperature of 24°C and a chilly overnight low of 2°C. The dry conditions are expected to make for a pleasant afternoon after another cold winter morning.
The forecast indicates no significant chance of rainfall, with calm weather expected to continue as the city remains firmly in the grip of the dry winter season.
The favourable weather is expected to provide ideal conditions for outdoor activities, sporting events, travel and business operations, although residents are advised to dress warmly during the early morning and late evening hours when temperatures will remain close to freezing.
The pleasant conditions are forecast to continue into the weekend, with Saturday expected to be slightly warmer. AccuWeather predicts plenty of sunshine and a high of 25°C, while the overnight temperature is expected to dip to 3°C.
Conditions are set to become even warmer on Sunday, with abundant sunshine and daytime temperatures climbing to 27°C, although the morning will still be relatively cool with a minimum of 6°C.
The gradual rise in daytime temperatures over the weekend is expected to provide ideal weather for outdoor gatherings, sporting activities and travel across Bulawayo and surrounding areas, while the continued absence of rainfall will maintain the city’s typical dry winter conditions.
AccuWeather’s extended outlook suggests the warming trend will persist into next week, with maximum temperatures forecast to remain in the upper 20s Celsius under predominantly sunny skies, although residents can continue to expect cool nights and crisp early mornings characteristic of the winter season.
