HARARE CITY FC: The new boys speak

Tendai Samanja

“The team has had a slow start, we have not been posting good results. I am yet to hit top gear, maybe out of ten I will give myself five points. But the good thing is it’s still early days and we have a chance to continue climbing the ladder and I know we will. Looking at the squad we have and the hard work we are putting in, I think a top four finish is achievable.”

Nicholas Alifandika

“We have to work hard to improve. The problem is we are doing almost everything, but not collecting maximum points largely due to our failure to convert chances. I am not happy with my contribution so far; I know I can do better than I have so far, but then I have not been very lucky with injuries. The good thing, though, is I am now fit and raring to go. I promise better days.”

Tafadzwa Dube

“I don’t think we deserve to be in the position we are in right now. We have played so well and our game has been improving with each outing. At the same time we have been our worst enemies mainly because of our failure to kill off matches. We have failed to convert clear chances that came our way and defensively we have had costly lapses in concentration. But we have been working very hard to rectify these shortcomings.”
