HIGHFIELD residents have lashed out at Apostle Oswell Sandey for conducting his Church of Christ Life International Ministries services without adequate ablution facilities.
The prophet is popularly known as ‘Witch Killer.’
Last Sunday, his worshippers were forced to ask to use toilets, at nearby houses, as the two toilets at their place of worship could not sustain the pressure.
One resident, Sophia Mugura, told H-Metro that Apostle Sandey should put in place proper ablution facilities before conducting services.
“We are being disturbed by the number of people coming from their church asking to use our toilets,” said Gogo Sophia.
“We thought they had been affected by cholera, only to learn that he had given them honey.
“Yes, we believe honey can cure some ailments, but it must not be taken in large quantities.
“Vakadyiswa huchi vakahunwa semvura saka vazhinji vavo vakatanga kumhanya kuzvimbuzi.
“Maybe, the followers thought their deliverance would come from taking more of the honey.
“Apostle Sandey should consider constructing more toilets at their site since his membership is growing every week,” she said.
Three quarters of the congregants on Sunday were reported to have taken a lot of honey after Apostle Sandey declared to them that May was the Month of Honey.
In videos captured during the service, Apostle Sandey claimed that honey could deal with every problem in one’s life,
The transformed lives, he claimed, would become as ‘sweet as the honey’ after deliverance.
