Swimming trainers meet

POOL Pump and Filter Centre will tomorrow host a swimming trainer and trainers workshop at their offices in Harare. The organisation’s sales and marketing officer, Shadreck Gumiremhete, said they have discovered that there is life in sports, hence their decision to support swimming as part of their social responsibility programme.

The company is targeting sports directors, swimming coaches and schoolchildren who are within the age-group of nine to 13 years.
“We have decided to pay back to the community that gives us business. Our company specialises in supplying, maintaining and construction of swimming pools, especially in schools.

We have therefore lined up a workshop that will be aimed at letting the people know basic swimming rules, develop swimming, campaign for free drown generation and value of swimming.”
