relatives attended the burial.
Tichafunga’s brother Charles told mourners that the family was yet to come to terms with the loss.
“We are still in a state of shock and find it hard to accept that Tichafunga has left us forever.
“When I received the call about his death in the early hours of Sunday morning I never took it seriously and waited for another call to say the whole thing was just a joke. But that was never to be.
“Tichafunga had really gone,” said Charles.
Charles pleaded with spiritual leaders to assist the family in coming to terms with the reality.
What started as a simple quarrel between the two, he said, had degenerated into a prolonged fight that later claimed the life of Tichafunga.
“I wish Tichafunga’s death does not divide the family because even Tendai is still asking himself how he had done such a horrible act,” he added.
Tichafunga’s father-in-law said his death was a blow to both families.
“Tichafunga’s death has created a void that both families will never be able to fill,” he said.
Son to the late Tichafunga, Walter, also said his father’s death had left him confused.
Tichafunga’s death has left resi-dents of Tafara searching for answers on what exactly transpired prior to the incident.
Some residents believe Tichafunga could have been killed for different reasons other than the parking space.
Tendai returned home from Rusape to find Tichafunga parking his car in his space.
This led to a quarrel and Tendai ended up shooting his brother.
Tichafunga leaves behind a wife and four children.
Tendai has since been arrested and is in police custody.
He will appear in court soon facing murder charges.
