Takanyi for Mardy Fish Champs

VERO BEACH. — Tennis players from five continents, including Zimbabwe Davis Cup player Takanyi Garanganga, will highlight the field into the US$25 000 Mardy Fish Children’s Foundation Tennis Championships.

Former University of Florida All-American Sekou Bangoura, all-time leading Venezuelan Davis Cupper Ricardo Rodriguez and Kazakhstan Davis Cup player Dmitry Popko, also got direct entries.

The event, set to run from April 29 to May 5 at The Boulevard tennis club in Vero Beach, is part of the International Tennis Federation World Tennis Tour. — tcpalm.com
