Tallie Two wins ZRP Charity horse race

TALLIE TWO won the ZRP Charity horse race at Borrowdale on Sunday. The event had a US$7 200 purse in stakes and Tallie Two won US$4 320 in prize money for coming first ahead of seven other horses.
The Alyson Wright-trained horse won the 1 200 metre race by 50 lens over Gentle Brook.

At 52kgs, Tallie Two was rated eighth before the race. The ZRP Commissioner’s Fillies Charity race was the big race in seven races on the day. Gentle Brooke, piloted by K Zechner, finished strongly for second place. The five-year-old filly was rated sixth. Seasoned jockey, Quinton Riddle, partnered Demitasse to a third place finish after they had been rated favourites during the draw. The ZRP Charity horse race is an annual event which seeks to raise funds for the charities supported by the Commissioner General.
