TAMMY Moyo is turning into a true role model for tens of thousands of young girls across the country.
The music star has been touring schools for the past few months and leaving a huge impact in schoolgirls.
Yesterday, she was at Harare Girls High and made a positive impact on the school girls at the iconic educational institution, inspiring them to always believe in themselves and to keep pursuing their dreams.
The songstress will be releasing her third album this month.
In an interview with H-Metro, Tammy said:
“I’m proud of these school tours. I’m proud that I am able to come out of my shell and inspire the next generation of not just creatives but leaders, people in society, key players in society.
“I might be standing before the next leaders, presidents, ministers, lawyers, and doctors and I’m happy that I can be part of that conversation in shaping their minds and how they think towards life.
“My third album is supposed to come out end of this July, I’m very proud of my body of work. I’m also proud of the collaboration that I did with Master H.
“I cannot discuss all the details about the album but it has good songs with powerful collaborations.”
Tammy added:
“Rather than be invited to the table, start creating your own table, start taking the initiative, start shaping society the way that you want by coming up with initiatives like going to schools and speaking to young people about how they can become, what they want to become and how they can fulfil that.
“My message to young girls, who are trying to break through in the music industry, is to stay true to yourself and stay in your lane.
“Remember to practice, putting in the time into your craft, there’s no excuses as to why you can’t succeed, be determined to do what you want to do.
“Don’t let society define what success looks like for you but continue to aim higher and higher.
“I have other projects that I’m working on but I’m not at liberty to say right now until it’s time.”
