Tamy Moyo, Voltz combine forces

AFRO pop diva and guitarist, Tamy Moyo, has been featured on Voltz JT’s new album, Life of Muvhimi, which will be released this month.

Speaking to H-Metro after the announcement of the collaboration by Voltz JT, on his social media platforms, the Bvudzi Jena artist said she was excited to be working with him.

“The drive to make good music is what inspired the collaboration and, for a long time, I was hoping to work with a hip pop act.

“When Voltz JT contacted me about his project, saying l would be great on it, l wasn’t opposed to the idea,” she said.

The two artists are expecting this cross pollination to make a difference in the music industry.

“I’m just hoping that people will enjoy this collaboration and that there will be a cross pollination of culture, a fusion of the hip pop and afro fusion worlds coming together,” said Tamy.

Tamy said she was excited to learn new things by working with Voltz JT.

“Working with him was a learning experience for me as he introduced me to a whole new world of rap and hip hop music.

“It was a really good experience.

“There are a few exciting collaborations on the way in future,” she added.

Tamy’s breakthrough song, Kwandinobva, introduced her to lovers of Urban Culture.
